Police in Sandown, N.H., have concluded that millionaire Robert S. Minton was not firing at four Scientologists who picketed his house July 25, and will not file charges against him.
The police also decided not to press criminal trespassing charges against the Scientologists...
(The article on the website begins at the 2nd paragraph, for some reason.)
So, let's review:
CAUSE: $cientologists trespass on Minton's property and provoke him into an inflammatory reaction.
EFFECT: More headlines about the fight between Minton and $cientology (as well as numerous mentions of the McPherson case) and no criminal charges at all.
Gee, looks like the real shot was fired by the $cientologists, right into their own feet. As usual. Nice job, boys, what do you do for an encore? Provoke a raid on Hemet by the FBI?
(hm... perhaps I've said too much... damn those sOOper pOWer intentionz!)
